There is something about watching a kukri being forged that stayed with us. The metal goes through intense heat. It is shaped through repeated hammering. It takes pressure, patience, and time before it begins to resemble the finished blade.
For us, that process became more than just craftsmanship. It became a reminder of life. There are moments when life puts us under pressure, just like metal under heat and hammer. Those moments can be difficult, but they can also shape us.
As two sisters building a business in a traditionally male-dominated craft, that idea became deeply personal. The kukri reminds us that strength is built through challenges — not by avoiding them.
That is one of the reasons we chose to build our journey around this craft.
